McKinley is frequently used by commercial, film, and television companies as a film location. These shoots can sometimes involve a great number of trucks and personnel on and around the campus. McKinley administrators and staff do everything they can to minimize the impact, however, on filming days, there is often more traffic congestion than normal. Every effort will be made to alert families of pending shoots. While they can be inconvenient, the money that McKinley makes from these shoots helps the school.
